We search for unique hides that have character and personality. Some are pristine and some have scrapes and scars and have a story to tell. When we find a hide that we love we buy it and then figure out what to make from it. Depending on the size of the hide and bag we choose we usually yield 10-20 items. No waste. We use every morsel of the hide. One hide at a time. Small batch.
Quality Leather
We source our hides from our leather friends in the garment center NYC, Virginia, upstate NY and Montana. The hides come from all around the world. We try to learn as much about each hide, its origin and story. Some are a mystery, we call them the "lost hides." Once we have the hide in hand we find inspiration as to what to create from it.
Made in USA
All of our bags are made in the Amish country in Pennsylvania and in Baltimore which is where we are located. Made in America is not easy but we believe in it! The leather craftsmen and women who create our bags are like family.
